Description: Back in the day when the brewpub craze was just picking up steam, almost all brewerys produced some type of classic Pale Ale. Nowadays, they are a vanishing breed. We love this style, and we make our version now and again to remind ourselves and our customers of "the good old days" when small brewerys were just getting started again in the U.S.A. Our brew is made with 100% British malts - Maris Otter pale malt and a light dose of caramel malt for that toffeish sweetness. Northdown and Challenger hops add a nice balance of bitterness and even more English character. Who's got the Britneys, then?
