Description: This complex sweet stout is a collaboration between Scriptown and the Crescent Moon. Brewed to celebrate Omaha Beer Week. Brew day was a gathering of friends, some new, some old and it was as pleasant as sailing in warm blue waters. On board was one friend who grows and roasts his own smoked Scotch Bonnet chili peppers, one friend who processes the fruit of the Haitian cocoa plant into nibs, some friends who added grain and yeast creating an intoxicating dark elixir and lastly, a few friends who work under a Crescent Moon everyday. The result is a delicious hearty, sweet, chocolatey stout with the hot peppers in the background adding just the right amount of complexity. Cheers!
