Description: 2022 vintage of Bourbon Barrel O.E. Barleywine. Spending over a year in bourbon barrels, BOURBON O.E.’s generous malt character merges with notes of vanilla, caramel, oak, toffee, and pecan. Our English Barleywine aged for over 1 year in freshly emptied bourbon barrels. This ale emerges from the barrel with immense aromas of toffee, caramel, vanilla, sweet bourbon, and oak. A soft bitterness and a touch of tannin from extended aging bring balance to an otherwise malty-sweet style. As the beer warms, expect the spirit character, caramel and toffee to intensify. High ABV, very malt-driven barleywine. Caramel, toffee and creme brulee notes.
