Description: Darvaza is a natural gas crater in Derweze, Turkmenistan, that collapsed into an underground cavern, and is known locally as the “Gates of Hell.” This beer is our interpretation of an aggressive double IPA. We started with a dry base with hints of malt and bittered to 90 IBU. We then dry hopped with 3 pounds per barrel of Idaho 7 and Citra hops. Darvaza is very aromatic on the nose with citrus and dank scents and finishes dry and bitter.
