Description: Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Ale. Just before the Civil War, a pumpkin blight bleached the Commonwealth's crop white, turning the gourds into twisted, fermenting skulls in the fields. This chai-spiced ale is brewed in remembrance of "the year of the twisted gourd," pairing pumpkin puree with cacao to create a unique ale which won South Street a silver medal at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival!
