Description: Traditional copper coloured best bitter/session ale based on a 1920s recipe from the old Dolphin Poole brewery. Light malty notes are balanced by the Goldings hops and the Bramling Cross offers a faint aroma of hedgerows and blackberries. This beer came about as an experiment whilst researching our Dorset premium ale and was never meant to leave the brewery. As word spread, popular demand meant we had to release the experimental batch for sale and now have to brew all the time!
