Description: Café Noir is an imperial Coffee Porter that has been barrel-aged for 8 months in Pinot Noir barrels from the California Central Coast. It is then cold infused with a blend of locally roasted coffee that was hand-selected by Tap It's brewing team and added just before bottling for the freshest of coffee flavors. We fermented this whack job of a beer at a slightly higher temperature to lend the warmth and mouthfeel of a Hot Toddy. With the seasonal temperature changes of the 8 months of barrel aging, we believe this Imperial Porter gained the nuances of an Old Ale in some of its malt character and body.
