Description: Bleeding Heart Numbskulls is a Sour Ale that will change and evolve with every batch. These unique beers vary in colour and can take on the hues of added fruits or other ingredients as well as their flavour and aroma. Sourness is an important part of the flavour profile, and the various added ingredients will affect its intensity. Batch - 1733 BHN Plum and Rosemary Fresh Plums from Native Feast and Rosemary to add a subtle herb aroma and aftertaste to compliment the sweet and sour of this batch. Batch – 1711 BHN Lemon, Ginger & Mint Lemon up front with ginger in the middle and finish with a slight mint aftertaste and aroma. Fresh lemon, ginger and mint are added to the kettle and FV to achieve this huge flavour. Batch – 1604 BHB Cranberry and Thyme It has a slight red hue from adding fresh cranberries in the brewing process. The prominent thyme aroma cuts the sweetness of the fruit and makes for a unique drinking experience.
