Description: Designed to showcase hop flavor and aromatics, Absolutely Not Zero is a riff on the developing style of Zero-IBU IPAs. This beer is brewed without mash-hops, as the style dictates, expressing its hop flavors through the whirl-pool and dry-hop additions. While the bitterness measurement (IBU) is traditionally measured by the volume and duration of hops added to a boiling mash-tun, it is evident from this beer does exhibit a mild bitterness from its late-addition hops. Hence the name AbsoluteLY NOT Zero. We wanted to show there is no such thing as a Zero IBU IPA.
