Description: So first off, you might be wondering what an Adambier is. And you'd be right to wonder, since this very old beer style isn't brewed often. My Adambier is not historically accurate, I chose to base my recipe on @hairofthedogbrewing's iconic "Adam". The recently-closed Portland brewery is legendary for their strong beers and it goes without saying that HotD is a huge inspiration to me. Happy retirement, Alan! My take on this "modern Adambier" style is dark, but not "stout-y". Smoke is present but not overwhelming from the peated malt in the grain bill.
