Description: Having been a carnation nursery for 43 years, Akiyama Hopyard provided a different type of “flower” for this barrel aged sour. Barrels of mature golden sour beer were stuffed with bundles of wet Chinook and Cascade hops in order to showcase their fragrant characteristics. The wet hops provide a resinous aroma which is complemented by notes of grapefruit and lemongrass that are unique to this beer.
