Description: Bourbon Distant is an Imperial Stout conditioned on sweet cherries, aged in bourbon barrels for 14 months, and is the second half of a collaboration with 3 Sons Brewing in Florida. For this one we took the same base beer as Apple Brandy Distant, but instead we aged it in beautiful Buffalo Trace barrels. Nice bourbon aroma and a flavor of cherries dipped in chocolate syrup. The cherries brighten and open up the flavors of the dense and layered Imperial Stout.
