Description: Geological is part of our first ever collaboration with a non-beer producer. Saltverk is an Icelandic producer of salt. They supply some of the best restaurants around the world, including Brus. And for this beer we brewed a huge imperial stout featuring oats and a several hour boil, and we then used kilos upon kilos of Dulce de leche, prepared by our chefs at Brus' kitchen. Then in the fermenter, we used Icelandic Lava Salt and toasted cacao nibs. As the beer warms in the glass, the caramel aromas really start to shine, melding wonderfully with the toasted cacao nibs. The beer is not meant to be salty like a gose, but the salt amplifies the flavor and aroma of the other ingredients. Learn more about Saltverk at www.saltverk.com
