Description: This Ale is a repeat of last years brew that Jo from Liberty Brewing Co. and I made up there and then with what we had kicking around on the day, then scribbled it on the back of a postcard! This beer is essentially an ESB and has a very English Malt base. It uses hops that are the last to be harvested, namely swags of fresh Nelson Sauvin and Green Bullet - Bloody delicious! This is one third in a series of new fresh hopped beers that belong to the Townshend’s vs. Liberty collaboration. While you are at it grab the other two to compare, Chatham's Rise and Last of the Summer Ale. Joseph came up with the bulk of the recipies for Chatham's Rise, Last of the Summer Ale and Oldahm's Tap. He's a great guy and it's great to be able to give him a nod too!
