Description: Packed full of citrus flavours from the distinctive Washington state hops used, combined with pale malt and Carron valley water to create a real thirst- quenching treat. The Carronade was affectionally known as ' the smasher' by the gun crews of Nelsons navy due to its devastating effect against the wooden ships of the time. developed from a design dating back to the second half of the eighteenth century the Carron Iron company of Falkirk went on to produce thousands of these guns in various calibres which saw service all over the world. The last conflict in which Carronades participated was the American Civil War in the 1860's.
