Description: Any night out with Brewer Jayne will inevitably turn to Gin & Tonics at some stage. To celebrate the Birds 5th Birthday, it seemed only fitting that Jayne brewed an IPA with many of the botanicals of the ultimate palate refresher. Added to the brew were gin botanicals of juniper berries, pepperberries, angelica root and coriander seed and for the tonic, cinchona bark, allspice and grapefruit peel. Ale and Wheat malts were used to keep the base light and fresh and then added Citra, Cascade and Galaxy hops for citrus and fruit notes and to contribute to the classic bitterness of a G&T. Dry, bitter, fruity and refreshing, just like the original. Same, same, but different.
