Description: What's the yams? The yam is the power that be. At it's core a porter, this beer exudes sweet potato. You can smell it when I'm walking down the street. Yams were added to both the mash and the final stages of fermentation. They dominate the porter in both aroma and taste, but subtly enough to allow a little roastiness and chocolate into the mix. Inspired by Kendrick Lamar's paraphrasing of Ralph Ellison and Chinua Achebe.
