Description: The second beer in Valkyrie’s English Series (brewed in collaboration with Raindogs and Christchurch’s favourite pom, Charles Swettenham) is an English Brown Ale. Raindogs took one half of the brown ale and added cacao nibs and hazlenuts, Valkyrie & Charles took their half and added sultanas, golden syrup, orange zest and cinnamon – to resemble a traditional Englishperson’s after dinner treat, Spotted Dick. Thus, Tweedle-Dum (Raindogs) Choco-Nuts and Tweedle-Dee (Valkyrie) Spotted Dick were born. It would be wrong to try just one.
