Description: You might be thinking, that’s an odd name, even for Voodoo; why’d you settle on that? Well, over the course of a year, we brew a lot of different collaboration, specialty, and one-off beers that require us to bring in many raw materials we don’t regularly use – most specifically, numerous varieties of barley. Curt had the idea to thoughtfully and carefully put some of these leftover ingredients together into a new stout recipe that he jokingly deemed a “garbage stout.” As we kicked around the idea in the brewery and actually brewed the beer, it evolved into something we were internally calling Hot Garbage.
