Description: Branded Flannel is a collaboration beer we brewed with our good friends from Mikerphone Brewing out of Illinois, the third collaboartion we have brewed with them (we really like hanging out together). Branded Flannel starts similar to many of our adjunct stouts, brewed with an abundance of chocolate and crystal malts and nearly 10% lactose sugar added to the boil. Then things got a little weird. We added nearly 200 boxes of Cocoa Puffs cereal to the beer, both in the mash and in the boil, then added an obscene amount of maple syrup in order to craft an over-the-top decadent and delicious breakfast beer.
