Description: This year's blend of Bourbon Barrel Louie, English-Style Barleywine was aged in Eagle Rare 10, Weller and Heaven Hill barrels for 11 months. Brewed using a double mashing technique with a blend of Maris Otter and Golden Promise malts as well as traditional English Hops. Inspired by the elegance of such ales as Fuller’s Vintage Ale or Eldridge Pope’s Thomas Hardy Ale, but bigger and more brash.
