Description: This expressive stout should check all of the superfluous boxes of excellence. Our base brew was a full bodied and well rounded batch of King Snake brewed for the sole purpose of extended aging and the ability to hold up against any adjuncts we would throw at it. We then let the beer age for nearly a year in freshly dumped Rip Van Winkle barrels with deliberate and controlled temperature swings to help fully express the spirit and the oak. When the beer was tasting to our targeted profile, we then transferred the beautiful base into one of @vanillasoftheworld 's toasted oak barrels which cured their premium Tahitensis Vanilla from Ecuador. Our final step in the process was to select a blend of vanilla for the final stage. The barrel was then finished on SIX POUNDS of a blend of premier beans from Mexico and Madagascar. The final result is a complex blend of vanilla so rich it evolves into a symphony of dark fruits and rich wood.
