Description: The 3rd release in our regional fermented beverage series takes us to the Middle East. The "ancient treasure" of grains Khorasan wheat known as Kamut® is rumored to have been discovered in an Egyptian tomb. 2-3 times the size of normal wheat this high protein grain likely originated in the Fertile Crescent area of the Middle East. Brewed with Kamut, Vienna, Pils, six-row barley and lightly hopped with Saaz. Open fermented with a blend of brewers yeast and Brettanomyces. Impressions of toffee, nuts, hay and sweet orange rind. This 9.3% abv ale will age well!
