Description: 4% ABV. Low 20's in bitternesss. Pepperiness from the rye, lactic bite from the sourdough, figs and raisins as backnotes and Willamette in quantity as a dry hop. Complex but, oh so balanced. Bread and beer have been intimately connected since antiquity. This beer is an embrace of exactly that with an acknowledgement of our obligation to do better and waste less. Made with a lot of day old bread from our local bakery, The Rocket, and a heart of gold. Mild brown ale. Well suited to accompany bread and cheese.
